What is new?

New functions, improvements and important notices about the app — explained briefly and without technical jargon.

New feature 1.0.0

Condition and collections are handled cautiously

Recognisable condition details and multiple-item finds can influence the internal calculation.

For suitable reports, the Value Engine can take recognisable condition descriptions such as new, well preserved, used or damaged into account. A limited collection factor may also apply to groups of related items. A technical confidence classification indicates how reliable the rule and match are considered. Unknown properties continue to be treated cautiously.

New feature Important1.0.0

Reuse and rescue values show preserved usefulness

Two separate ranges provide a cautious indication of a find’s possible remaining usefulness.

The new value card distinguishes between estimated reuse value and a more narrowly calculated rescue value. Reuse value places a comparable used item in a cautious range. Rescue value indicates how much usefulness may be preserved through continued use within that range. Both figures are guidance only and are neither a selling price nor an appraisal.

New internal value estimates for suitable finds

JustSawIt can now display cautious reuse and rescue value ranges.

An internal rule-based value estimate is now available for suitable publicly visible find reports. It combines reviewed value rules with available object profiles and uses no external price database or additional AI request. Instead of claiming an exact price, it displays transparent ranges. An estimate appears only when a completed object profile and a suitable active rule are available.

AI object profiles improve search and classification

Additional object terms, synonyms and grouping information support internal find processing.

For suitable find reports, JustSawIt can store structured AI object profiles and additional search terms. This information helps connect different descriptions, classify search requests more effectively and compare similar objects. The visible original report text remains unchanged. AI results are technical assistance and may be incomplete or incorrect.

New feature 1.0.0

Discover similar finds as possible alternatives

Suitable reports can now be compared with other active items.

For suitably enriched reports, JustSawIt can identify other active finds that are semantically similar to the selected item. The calculation combines object-profile characteristics with mathematical similarity values from stored object representations. This can reveal alternatives when the original find has already been collected or when several comparable items are available. The displayed order is a technical estimate and does not replace checking condition, size, distance and availability.
